A male that sleeps with highly unattractive females, whether it be through a fetish for uglies or just an inability to get a better standard of sexual partner. Similar to a chubby chaser except a grotknocker cares not for weight, he only cares that the woman is so repugnant hardly anyone else will stoop to the level, even chubby chasers might refuse the level a grotknocker would happily take home.
