Neil foolishly bit into the apple the shady stranger gave him, and a small explosion blew off the bottom of his face. A griswald was hidden in the apple.

A large and complicated knot. Taken from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation when the main character, Clark Griswald, passed off a string of lights in a basketball sized knot to his son. It's most commonly seen made of electrical cords from game consoles and computer systems.
