Green Daying

Green Daying is a verb, which describes when somebody is listening to songs by the American Punk Rock band - Green Day, continously, for a fairly large amount of time.

The reason verbs like this do not exist for other bands, is because not all bands can be listened to for a long amount of time, without getting boring.

Usually, iTunes is used to Green dayage. But Sometimes MP3 players etc. can be used. In most cases, at least 15 or more songs are needed to Green Dayage.

A true Green Dayager will try to get his/her hands on every Green Day song avaliable, through any means possible.

For many people, Green Dayaging is a hobby. It's something they like to do when they are feeling down, or why they are feeling up, or... in fact, in any mood.
Mike had been Green Dayaging all night long and he only stopped because he had to go out. This is an example of "Green Daying"

Green Dating

Green dating is the act of recycling an old flame. This can be due to a dry spell or the amount of time since the relationship ended has been enough that the reason for the breakup doesn’t seem as important/terrible. Therefore you reduce you time on the market, reuse an ex-lover and recycle them into a good-enough-for-now option...until something better comes along.
Kerry: So, I heard you are dating John again…I thought you said you couldn’t stand him

Betsy: Yeah, but I figure he can’t be as bad as I remember, and since I don't have any decent new prospects I have resorted to green dating to get me through the cold winter!

Green Dating

The act of recycling partners within the same dating scene, sort of like musical chairs but with STDs, jealousy, and guilt.
Man, we need to move to a new city. Every eligible girl I know has slept with half of my friends. I don't want to resort to green dating.

Dating green

The eco-friendly practice of recycling, or re-dating, former boyfriends/girlfriends, regardless of whether or not it is a terrible idea.
Jane: "Omg, can you believe that Sarah got back together with that jackass, Matt?!"
Melissa: "I know, right!? At least she's thinking of the environment and dating green, though..ha."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
