The act of gentrifying an area so badly that that all remnants of local cultural have been obliterated and replaced with things that old white people like.

Gentrifuck 

An Urban Planning term for when the good intention of gentrification of a town, neighbourhood, city or any other area subject to gentrification goes horribly wrong either immediately after gentrification, or unintended consequences of gentrification over time.

"Oh look over there, that neighbourhood looks so fresh and so new"

"yes, but it has been gentrifucked, as the only people that can afford the rents are snobs, and the only stores that can afford the rent are corporations - mom and pop shops have dissapeared"

Gentrifuck 

A yuppie larvae that wishes to gentrify everything. They don't respect every tradition and would rather erase dark pasts than learn from it & respect it for what it is. They don't respect old ways. They are of the liberals as well. They're highly problematic reformers. This word is associated with punks, brats, liberals, leftists, yuppies, yuppie larvae, children, insignificant posterity, cheap, pompous among many other words of insults as well as shyster or scheisser.

Gentrification 

When "urban renewal" of lower class neighbourhoods with condos attracts yuppie tenants, driving up rents and driving out long time, lower income residents. It often begins with influxes of local artists looking for a cheap place to live, giving the neighbourhood a bohemian flair. This hip reputation attracts yuppies who want to live in such an atmosphere, driving out the lower income artists and lower income residents, often ethnic/racial minorities, changing the social character of the neighbourhood.

It also involves the "yuppification" of local businesses; shops catering to yuppie tastes like sushi resaturants, Starbucks, etc... come to replace local businesses displaced by higher rents.

The term was coined by sociologist Ruth Glass, who is quoted below.

"One by one, many of the working class quarters of London have been invaded by the middle-classes—upper and lower. Shabby, modest mews and cottages—two rooms up and two down—have been taken over, when their leases have expired, and have become elegant, expensive residences .... Once this process of 'gentrification' starts in a district it goes on rapidly until all or most of the original working-class occupiers are displaced and the whole social character of the district is changed."

The taste-challenged gentrifucks ruined the vibe in Bucktown, and now they're taking over Andersonville.
