floor show

a smaller music show (concert), usually in a DIY type of venue, were there is a lack of stage and large sound system. these types of shows, which are generally "punk rock" in nature, are more up-close, allowing a more intimate atmosphere between the band and the crowd.
"fuck this big-venue bullshit. i can't remember the last time i was at a good floor show."

Floor Show

This is the goings on of the late night experience at Denny's, Norm's, Harbor House Cafe and any other 24 hour restaurant, this is where the drunks and crazies come to kill time while waiting for their buzz to wear off.
Lets go to Harbor House Cafe because their floor show is better than Denny's

floor show

1. A minor fight or fracas, usually in a drinking establishment or other place of public entertainment. The actual level of violence is low, due to the participants being inept, inebriated or both. Hence the incident is entertaining rather than frightening to the onlookers.

"I was in <drinking establishment> last night - there was a terrific floor show. Some drunk guy got chucked out by the doormen."

shower floor

Most sticky, soiled surface in a 13-16 year old boy's possession.
"Shoot! This glue is worse than a shower floor!"

shower floor

Most commonly visited place of the clumsy.
Damn! Not the shower floor again!
A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
