An image that sticks in your mind, and will not leave no matter how much you try. (This is the visual analog of earworm.)

An Internet Fable: Sam's most memorable eyeworm occurred when he stumbled across the Two Girls, One Cup video. Try as he might, he could not get the image out of his head.

Moral: What has been seen cannot be unseen.
