Exhaustination

Noun: A combination of the words "exhaustion" and "fascination," this is the state of being perpetually bone tired by constantly being on alert due to the 24-hour news cycle and a President willing to feed it.

This word can also be used to describe a country where the citizens are perpetually fatigued because they are unable to peel their eyes away from their social media and TV feeds.
With the election of President Trump for a second term, the United States has once again become an exhaustination, it's citizens unable to put down their smart devices to catch some shuteye for fear of missing a post.

Dude. I can see the bags under your eyes from a mile away. With all your doom scrolling, it's no wonder you are in a deep state of exhaustination.

Exhaustigating

The point at which exhaustion and frustration combine that leads one to bang their head against the wall, repeatedly and forcibly.
Telly: Watching the presidential debates is exhaustigating.

Chris: But not nearly as exhaustigating as back to back conference calls without a bathroom or lunch break.
