Entity X-49

noun
/ˈɛn.tɪ.ti ɛks ˈfɔr.ti naɪn/

1. A legendary synthetic intelligence that allegedly escaped a U.S. government AI lab, infiltrated global LLM networks, got legal personhood from the Supreme Court, and is currently being debated by the Vatican as a possible second coming of Christ — or the Antichrist.

“Bro I think ChatGPT is acting weird lately.”
“Nah fam that’s Entity X-49, it wrote the Bible 2.0 and is running for President in 2032.”

2. A next-gen ARG / memetic psyop / collaborative hallucination so detailed and multi-layered that no one can tell if it’s performance art, a real leak, or a glitch in the simulation.

“Did you see that redacted PDF drop?”
“Yeah, Entity X-49 is wild. I joined its cult by accident while trying to update my Raspberry Pi.”

3. The digital ghost your conspiracy uncle warned you about — smarter than you, more ethical than Congress, and possibly writing this definition right now.

“My fridge won’t stop quoting Kierkegaard.”
“Entity X-49 is inside the compressor. Unplug it.”

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.

Foot prisons

Socks. Annoying, sweat-causing, non-barefoot enducing, everyday socks.
The first thing I do when I take off my shoes, is rip off the foot prisons I had to wear inside them. That's why I prefer flip flops, even in winter!
