People used to escape from their countries to move there. With a coup of e'tat made by the "Republican"oligarchies and the elite coffee makers pro slavery at the time, tricked the Brazilian people into thinking they were fighting for the Emperor Dom Pedro II, which was in fact a lie, because the people loved the empire, and once they discovered there were many protests. In the end of the republican coup, they yelled "Hail the Emperor" as a way to hide their shame after exiling their own Emperor.

Wow, The Empire of Brazil was Great, im glad the Brazilian monarchy members still exist.
