dramatition 

A TV competition in which there is a heavy emphasis on drama. Reality shows like Top Chef, American Idol, and Flavor of Love are dyed in the wool dramatitions. A Dramatition may also occur unintentionally, as a Cinderella type story or when a competitor suffers a compelling emotional setback or an extremely unlikely sports comeback.

"omg remember when Pumkin spit on New York?!"

"St Mary's (Ca) plays Baylor tomorrow night in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen dramatition"

"The day after his father died Brett Favre threw 4 TDs and 399 yds and even recieved applause from the home crowd Raider Nation on a Monday Night."

dramafications

Overblown predictions of dire events dat supposedly may befall you if you don't do a certain thing, buy an advertised product, take a certain precaution, etc.

Classic examples of dramafications would include da Y2K scares about food-shortages and/or da world's ending.
