A person who is highly educated and intellectually capable, yet refuses to apply critical thinking skills, using their learning only to rigidly defend a pre-existing religious dogma or political party line.

The politician, despite his Ivy League degrees, was a stubborn Dogmadite who would never allow evidence to conflict with his established political narrative.

dogmanity 

' is a noun expression that relates to love and care for dogs as our pets. it has similar connotation like 'Humanity" but i believe, dogmanity to some extent trades off with humanity. There are many people in the society very conscious and caring about pets, mostly the pet dogs but quite careless about humans likes neighbors, relatives and even the own parents.
one my friend asked me what is, being an immigrant from one of the least developed countries, view about humanity in the develop society. i answered, i see both humanity and 'Dogmanity ' equally prevalent in this society whereas the dogmanity is almost absent from the society i came from.

Dogmanite 

To be someone who asserts things to others without proving them too. Notorious for using the dude trust me defense or any number of fallacies to convince people of their bullshit. Often goes hand in hand with being very religous or anti-religious. This person will agree that you should believe in the inconvenient truth over pretty lies. But they'll get around this by conflating pretty lies with personal truth, either consciously or unconsciously.

Dogmanite: Dude trust me, I'm older than you.
