Dertardism

Der-tard-ism - The process in which the minds of people are becoming virally infected with utter stupidity. The development of one's mind being affected by something really dumb. Perhaps having listened to someone or having watched something that is so fucking retarded that you are now literally dumber and your overall IQ drops for having done so.

Guy 1: Hey did you happen to see all the latest political trash-talking commercials on T.V. for the up-coming election?

Guy 2: Oh yeah I did! Boy I'd say we've really reduced ourselves to that of a bunch of mudslinging primates. Having watched those ads really made me a dumber person!
Guy 1: I know! After watching them I felt as if someone just performed a lobotomy on me!!
Guy 2: I'd say we got ourselves a classic case of dertardism on our hands. Probably because we are too busy jerking off and watching football to pay attention to our own politics leaving us in the shit storm that we're in.

Guy 1: I agree brother. Now lets go grab a beer and watch the game and let Donald Trump keep fucking us over while we sit and complain but yet do nothing about it.!
