Living vicariously through the internet - as opposed to living an organic life.

Portmanteau neologism of “CYBER” (as in cyberspace) and “VICARIOUS”.

Including (but not limited to) Social Media, E-mail, IM, Texting, Sexting, Tweeting, Forum posting, LOL cating, In boxing, Online games, Internet porn, Second life-ing, Farmville-ing, Online gambling, Posting comments on blogs and news sites, Thumbs upping (or downing), E-baying – well, you get the idea.
Wendy's cybercarious life consisted of following 324 celebrities on twitter, 2500 "friends" on Facebook, and a second life avatar named Fiona.
