Credit Crunch Lunch

Having a cheap lunch in order to save money. Food such as cheese spread sandwiches, simply value foods and unbranded cola.

Jeremy: What do you have for lunch Steve?
Steve: Bad times man, got a Credit Crunch Lunch, cheese spread sandwiches, Simply Value crisps and a can of cola.

to eat a cheap meal at lunch time because you are skint i.e. bread and jam or corn flakes etc

Paul: I'm going to the sandwich shop at lunch time, you want anything?

Tom: Nah i'm havin a credit crunch lunch
