Credibilicide 

1. The act of passing on information so obviously inane that it kills any chance one has of ever being believed again; or
2. The act of relaying completely valid information to individuals lacking the education or intellect to grasp the concept(s).

TOM: Please stop sending me emails telling me every time someone blinks three times while reading the message Bill Gates is going to give $1 million to a 79-year-old Lithuanian woman who was forced to start working as an exotic dancer to support her 14 children. Didn't you see the Snopes link I forwarded to you saying it's not true?"
JERRY: "Well, they also tried to tell us KFC isn't really using mutant monster chickens born without beaks. That was pure credibilicide. I'll never believe anything they say again."
