A person or especially a corporation who exploits the Covid-19 pandemic to make a profit while pretending to do so out of goodness or in consideration for those who suffer due to the pandemic.

That senator is such a cov artist, voting to bail out corporations to help "workers" during Covid while he knows that money will never reach employees.
