When a female is unprepared for her period/menstrual cycle, this would be the last ditch effort do not ruin your underwear until you can get your hands on a tampon or pad. It is basically rolling up a decent amount of bath tissue in replacement for a pad.

Well that was unexpected! I guess I have to use coochie cotton to get by.
