not to be confused with a comfort boy, a comfort man (sometimes called an emotional support white boy) is a male celebrity or fictional male character that someone who usually isn't comfortable around men, finds extreme comfort in. they're the type of man that you'd feel safe with if the two of you got trapped in an elevator together.
