Chest Pain 

Chest Pain: an idiom designated to describe the pain caused by a broken heart, named from the tightness in the chest that the event of heartbreak creates.

The most common occurrence of this form of chest pain is the death of a loved one or emotional separation from friends, family or partners.

Person 1: "You didn’t show up to the gathering last night. Is everything alright?"
Person 2: "Yeah… just couldn’t handle it. I get chest pain thinking about going to parties - it reminds me of... her."

gray bar chest pain 

A sudden onset of chest pain that is brought on by being arrested. Symptoms are usually so severe that the detainee must be diverted to the ER rather than being put behind bars.

"Hey man loosen these cuffs! I can't breathe! I think I'm dying! I got gray bar chest pain...I can't go to jail, I gotta go to the ER!"
