‘‘You buddhu! How can you take so long to add two and two!’’
Origin: India (Hindi/Bengali)
At some point in Ancient Indian history the word “Buddhu”(बुद्धू ), which was corruption of word “Baudh”(बौद्ध, meaning Buddhist), was started to be used by Non-Buddhist to refer to Buddhists pejoratively. And this word was used, condescendingly, by Non-Buddhists to refer to Buddhists as stupid/idiot. The word must have, at some point, entered the general lexicon to refer to any person, in general, with limited mental cognition of temporary nature or otherwise.

Get the Buddha's Feast mug.A person who is a manipulative and fake. A Buddhini is usually a woman who tricks people into getting what they want. Usually they make up a personality to match with the person they are targeting. They will lie, hide information or do any other kinds of morally bad things to get the job done.
They don't care about you or how you feel, if something gets what they want, they'll get it done at the cost of any morality.
This is mainly due to the lack of empathy and regard for other people's feelings.
Some may even diagnose Buddhinis as sociopathic and/or narcissistic.

Get the Buddhist mug.A Buddhist is a person who follows the Dhamma-Vinaya (conduct and discipline) preached by the Mahabodhi, Siddhartha Gautama. A Buddhist believes the Four Noble Truths (Pali: cattāri ariyasaccāni), which are:

Buddhism in various forms is practiced across East Asia, although it has largely died out in its home country of India. Sri Lanka is the birthplace of Theravada Buddhism, practiced in Burma, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, while Mahayana Buddhism is practiced in Tibet, Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan and Siberia.
Many people in the West have taken a keen interest in Buddhism in recent decades, leading to a resurgence of this ancient faith.
In spite of doctrinal differences, all of the above groups are considered Buddhist because they all revere the Buddha and his teachings.
