In verb form, to ignore someone who is talking to you because you have earbuds in. In effect, you are snubbing them because of your earbuds.

In noun form, to be ignored by someone apparently because they have earbuds in.

Ahead I caught a glimpse of the beautiful Angelique, and, summoning the courage to shout "Hey, Angelique!" half the room turned my way--except she, who kept walking on the beat of her music. A budsnub.
