Brisbane Grammar School is an independent, non-denominational, day and boarding school for boys, located in Spring Hill, an inner suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is the oldest secondary boys school in Brisbane. Some of the Brisbane Grammar School Buildings are listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. The school is famously the best at academic performance in the state, only matching with its rival school, St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace, which happens to be on the same street. Its sister school, Brisbane Girls Grammar School, is directly next to Brisbane Grammar. Brisbane Grammar is also part of the Greater Public Schools system. A system of Queensland's most elite boys schools (excluding Brisbane State High School (BSHS), which is co-educational). Brisbane Grammar School is also the most expensive school in the state, and the 10th most expensive in the country, with fees starting at around $30,000, as of 2018.
