Bragnorats are a group of people or individuals who chose to flaunt their intelligence or so called knowledge by ridiculing others by questioning their intelligence based on how they should be incorporating their intelligence in a social setting. The people being ridiculed are usually humble and have no desire to boast and flaunt their intelligence and achievements to seek recognition or validation.
It certainly indicates that they're ignorant of what it means to be smart and their arrogance piggybacks their fragile ego to a foolhardy subconscious manifest state. Such people would do well if they utilized their intelligence for self reflection to evaluate their irrational perspective and inadequacies in an attempt to build self worth. Bragnorats are insecure about other aspects of their life. If challenged, they will find there is little niche of understanding and an ocean of the unknown. They are regarded as shallow and their brain is always out to lunch for we are unaware of what we do not know. Bragnorates are social rats with an embryonic cerebellum titled 'Under Construction.'

Professor Pratt: "Look at these morons, they think they're scientist because they've successfully completed a Bachelor of Education." " What will they do if they studied a medical degree?"
Lecturer: "You know what we call people like that, we call them Bragnorats."
