BIGBACKATRY big-bak-uh-tree (noun)

1. The act of excessive, unnecessary consumption of food, particularly when one is already full; gluttonous behavior often characterized by the phrase, “I’ll just have a little more.”

Etymology:
Derived from the slang “big back” (a reference to having a robust appetite or physique) combined with “gluttony,” originating in the early 2020s among Gen Z social circles.

Example:
“After the third round of wings, DeShawn’s bigbackatry was on full display, leaving no drumstick untouched.”

First Known Use:
2022, when someone tried to explain why they needed an extra side of fries with their burger.
