Unlike antinatalism (which sees procreation as morally wrong), aponatalism simply means "away from natalism" opting out for freedom, focus, or personal reasons without judging others who choose kids.
Aponatalism is the personal choice to avoid having (more) children because one realizes they don't want additional sentient beings to suffer through life's inevitable hardships.
