An Infinity War

A series of disconnected stories that will eventually be linked up later on while offering little to no information about: what is happening, who the people involved are or why it's happening. You will be required to glean information from the context of the story unless you are otherwise aware of the circumstances prior to the conversation.
Person 1: "...So Sarah and I were able to make it to the store, they were out of pineapples. We got a call from Davis telling use that he and Elly just barely managed to find Davi's shoes, I swear they lose everything. Meanwhile, Milo and Kenny are just barely finding parking, and Josh, who got dropped off, is running for it and..."

Person 2 : "Dude...I have no idea who these people are. Back it up, you're telling me An Infinity War here..."
Words you can keep

pulling an Infinity Ward

1. To take one enormous step backwards.

2. To not listen to people who have supported you in the past.

3. To abandon a community that once helped you reach the forefront.

4. To think of consumers as beta testers who have to pay to test the product.

5. To raise the price of a product after removing features from it.

6. To generate so much hype only to blow it.

7. To fix things that aren't broken, only to ruin it.
Example of pulling an Infinity Ward.

Alex: Dude, you heard? They removed dedicated servers from Modern Warfare 2. What a back stab to the PC community. What's worse, they raised the price!

Bryan: Yeah man, they totally pulled an Infinity Ward on us. I think I will spend my money on Bad Company 2.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
