Synthetic engine oil. The number forty means the thickness of the motor oil when the engine is hot and five is the thickness when the oil is cold.

The 5w40 motor oil is thicker than your average motor oil. Therefore, it lubricates any engine better than your average motor oil. This motor oil is made to seep into the moving parts of the engine.
My KTM uses a full synthetic 5W40 oil and runs sublime when compared to mineral oil

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
