#WomenFirst
#WomenFirst means that women should be given priority when it comes to safety, protection, and legal pathways to citizenship and relocation.
This principle already exists in civilized societies. We follow “women and children first” during emergencies, disasters, and life-threatening situations. #WomenFirst simply applies that same logic to immigration and citizenship policy.
Women face unique vulnerabilities that men do not. In many parts of the world, they are more likely to be oppressed, controlled, and subjected to violence. At the same time, women commit far less violent crime than men.
These realities justify giving women priority access to safety and citizenship.
#WomenFirst does not mean men should have no rights or access. It means women should come first when resources, legal pathways, and protection are limited — just as we already do in emergency situations.
Currently, immigration systems treat men and women the same on paper. #WomenFirst argues this is a mistake. Women should have an easier, prioritized route to citizenship and relocation, especially when fleeing oppression.
Prioritizing women is not discrimination — it is recognition of biological and social realities. Societies that fail to protect their most vulnerable members, starting with women, are not truly civilized.

#WomenFirst argues that women should be given easier access to citizenship and protection than men, as civilized societies have always prioritized women in times of crisis.
I saw ICE has deported a bunch of young female english speaking illegal immigrants... We need to rally behind #WomenFirst so that never has to happen.
