Mochi-Bread

A nickname that refers to an individual as either soft to the touch or somewhat squishy. Can also be used literally, to refer to an individual who enjoys consuming mochi and/or bread on a daily basis.

Example One
Person 1: Hi Mochi-Bread.
Person 2: Must you always call me that? Yes, I know, I'm squishy. Now please stop.

Example Two
Person 1: How is your day today Mochi-Bread?
Person 2: Quiet, I'm trying to finish my mochi and my bread in peace.

Bread Thieves

A catch-all phrase for Australians, many of whom had ancestors deported to the colonies for stealing loaves of bread.

The tradition continues to this day with their politicians often being caught with their snouts in the trough and corruption being rampant.
