1. Someone who is constantly coming up with excuses for why he can never make it to anything he has planned to do.

2. Someone who emits a feeling of uneasiness and is hard to fully trust, either due to past experience, reputation, or just plain being sketchy.

bassturd

Originally from the word bastard, this new word was coined in order to avoid the connotations of lacking a father, since friends will often come to respect each other's fathers (not always). This version does not lose its negative connotation. It basically means small and insignificant, as in something you are able to let slide. But like the excrement from bass, when too much of it builds up, it gets pretty annoying. Comically used between close friends.

A phrase popularized by a conservative talk-show host to refer to the indigents who choose to live outside their means, pump out kids from multiple "baby-daddy's," and refuse to work, leaving honest, hard working, tax-paying Americans to foot the bill.

What caused the American economy to pseudo-collapse in 2008?
