Navy slang used in the British Royal Navy and most Commonwealth Navies. Another name for someone with the rank of Leading Seaman (or Leading Hand). Can also refer to the rank itself.

A killick is generally placed in charge of a group of three or four junior hands. Or. Once you've been in for four years you'll get your killicks.

Kill Devil Hills

An area along the outer banks of north carolina, while 2/3 of the population are tourists (who cant drive) during the summer time, the remaining population consists of all around freindly folk. Warm beaches and friendly people makes it one of the least redneck places in North Carolina!

The waves are better in Kill Devil Hills than they are in Virginia Beach.
