A term for an unexpected or unpredictable problem or issue which causes harm, physically, mentally, etc.
Can be used if the problem is self created or not.

Referential to the idea of a mailman’s opening a mailbox unknowingly containing an angered badger

(Self Created Problem) *Joe trips and hurts his nose*
Steve: Man, you really put the badger in the mailbox
Joe: I guess so

(Not self created) *Crazy girl destroys Steve’s car*
Steve: Man I really missed the badger in the mailbox there

It means that 2 video game characters are dancing with a text box "There's a pipebomb in your mailbox" its also means that there is LITERALLY a pipebomb in your mailbox. You could use it for trolling someone like on discord, tiktok etc. Yeah, don't fall for someone who posted 2 video game characters dancing on you like they're basically taunting you.

The act of going around a neighborhood, usually in a vehicle of some kind, and using a variety of objects, primarily pumpkins, to fuck up some people's mailboxes.
