That part of the story that is neither pure myth nor historical fact. Possibly the larger part of the story.

Personifications of Shakespeare, Joan of Arc, and Jesus Christ are a part of mistory. Mistory is a sorely needed relative term. We have too many purported absolutes in the dictionary already. Mystery and mistory are related; but mistory represents a body of pseudo knowledge, whereas mystery can derive strictly from imaginations.
