Angst

Angst, often confused with anxiety, is a transcendent emotion in that it combines the unbearable anguish of life with the hopes of overcoming this seemingly impossible situation. Without the important element of hope, then the emotion is anxiety, not angst. Angst denotes the constant struggle one has with the burdens of life that weighs on the dispossessed and not knowing when the salvation will appear.

An airplane crashes into the side of a remote snow-covered mountain; those passengers that worry about their lives without hopes of survival only face anxiety. In contrast, those passengers who worry about their lives with hopes of survival but do not know when the rescue party will arrive face angst.

Anastasia is the most beautiful girl on earth. Sometimes, she second-guesses herself and thinks less of herself. She cares so much about other people and things. Anastasia advocates for everything that she believes in. Sometimes she gets knocked down by others or gets hurt, but she never shows it 'cause she's scared that she will be seen as less strong of a person. Anastasia's name means 'resurrection' in greek. Anastasia is not always a Russian, she can be greek too! Anastasia sometimes thinks that she's ugly, and can be quite insecure. Make sure to keep telling your Anastasia how beautiful she is. She really loves her friends and would take care and defend them in a heartbeat. Anastasia doesn't let herself get walked over by bitches who ditch her on Halloween. And by the way, yes I am an Anastasia. We get a lot of shit and go through a lot of pain, it's nice to feel loved. :) Make sure you tell the Anastasia you now how much you care about them.
