something like a game or program that was written for multiple platforms or used the same base of code/ideals. the object or thing that is transplatform typically will appeal to more than others due to how dynamic it is.

Call of Duty was a transplatform game that goes from Xbox to Playstation.

Java is a transplatform; Java compiles once and can be ran on Linux, Windows, and even Mac.

Windows is a platform, Xbox is a platform, Java is an object of a platform(s).
