The dark art of getting broken code or a terrible design to “work” through sheer force of desperation, duct tape, and questionable morals.
Usually involves global variables, setTimeout “fixes,” or ten layers of !important.
Common side effects include technical debt, shame, and a future you silently curse.

A sock that has poop, diarrhea or any other form of fecal matter in it.

They couldn’t find a toilet so they had to utilize a shitsock for emergency purposes.
