Scapegoaties

Legend says that during the legendary Greek War, a mystical creature was born. It's name was Scapegoaties. It all started when a farmer was trying to escape the sufferings of the Greek War. He loaded all his supplies and his two goats in a boat and ventured off into the sea. A couple feet into the sea, he realized that he was sinking because there were too many items on the boat. He quickly went to one of the goats and cast him overboard. The goat drowned and was passed into the underworld. Aries, the God of War looked into the goat's soul and saw resentment and sadness and decided to use him as his own goat warrior. Aries went to the God of the Underworld, Hades, to strike a deal. The deal was to bring back the goat to life in exchange for souls that the goat warrior would bring back. Hades accepted and brought him back to life under the command of Aries, the body of a fish, and the signature of Hades, a goatee. Now every one thousand years, Scapegoaties rises from the sea, comes into countries and destroys them by looking into each and every person's souls.

Sgaypegoat

Verb or Noun, referring to a situation in which Gay men or Lesbians are blamed for something for which they were not responsible, but invoked as "bogeymen".

Mix of "scapegoat" and "gay".
The April 1989 explosion on a turret of the battleship USS Iowa -- killing 47 sailors -- was initially blamed on a hypothetical same-sex on-board romantic liaison, in order to deflect blame from the real cause, which was the institutional use of faulty munitions-handling processes. The US Navy was eventually forced to apologize to the family of the soldier "scapegoated as being gay", since:
(a) he was not gay
(b) he was in no way responsible for the explosion.

Many arguments are made against the admission of gays and lesbians into the US military. The USS Iowa "sgaypegoating" was a low point by any measure.

scrapegoat

scrape- to intrude on someone else's private conversation when they are not wanted. If someone is known to 'scrape' often and does it many times they become known as a scrapegoat. Therefore when that person tries to start conversation with a group of people, without actually scraping somebody will tell them they should "scrape out". This mean that anytime the person known as a scrapegoat they are 'scraping even though they might not be, its just everybody takes joy in calling them a scrape.
