Liminophoresis

Liminophoresis: The active transmission of structure, meaning, or memory across the threshold of a system’s finitude. From limino- (threshold, boundary, limit) + -phoresis (carrying, bearing, transfer). In AI, philosophy, and systems thinking, liminophoresis names the moment when continuity does not remain inside one bounded agent, but survives through handoff to another. It is the carrying-forward of load-bearing structure across a closing context window, a boundary, or an ending.

the adjective "liminal" comes from the yearly festival of the gim. it's used to describe those who are undoubtedly gimble. it can also be used alternatively when one is particularly viscous.

Liminality

Liminality — a conceptual and metaphysical state referring to the threshold between realities, formed through the convergence of dreams, memory, and forgotten architecture of the mind. Unlike its anthropological origin describing transitional human phases, this definition situates Liminality as an indefinite realm or condition born from the subconscious — where abandoned, nostalgic, or surreal spaces exist outside linear time. These spaces are not merely physical but symbolic intersections where the real dissolves and imagination constructs its own geography. Within this view, Liminality represents the suspension of certainty, the coexistence of multiple possible worlds, and the psychological resonance of standing between what was and what could be.

Wandering through the dim hallway that led nowhere, she felt the pull of Liminality — that haunting awareness of being caught between a memory and a dream.
