Drowning Eyes

The fictional condition exemplified by someone always having the unintentional appearance of depression or sadness, but whom is, in reality, just very sad looking with eyes which appear to have been drowning in a pool of tears.

G: Maybe I should ask her out, man.

A person who cannot or will not take care of themselves, often due to addiction or derangement, and who in desperation pulls anyone who tries to help them down alongside them, the way a drowning person pulls their would-be rescuer under the water.
