Criminal infractions such as shoplifting your dinner, totaling parked cars on the way home from a bar, small-time liquor store and gas station holdups, destroying property in bar fights or stealing some kid’s piggy bank money.

As with most poverty crimes, I was hella high or seriously shitfaced during the pathetic act itself!

Crime comitted on impulse during brief period of opportuntiy

A car boot is left open and some one steals an item from the inside of it. For example this could be a box of chocolates or your grandma. This would be classed as an opportunity crime.
