Russian or Roman

A characteristic belonging usually to a person in a new romantic courtship. Often inquired by the parent(s) of said personages of the new relationship if he/she is Russian or Roman, seemingly an inquiry to ethnic heritage, when in reality it is a question of whether or not the party inquired of is "rushing or roaming," as in interested in sexual behavior, i.e., "rushin'" (acting swiftly and passionately) and "roamin'" (roaming passionately on said party's person with the hands.)

Daughter: "Dad, I've got a new boyfriend!"
Father: "I hope he's not Russian or Roman!"

Eastern Roman Empire

The Eastern Roman Empire, also referred to as the Byzantine Empire or Byzantium, was the continuation of the Roman Empire in its eastern provinces during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, when its capital city was Constantinople. It survived the fragmentation and fall of the Western Roman Empire in the 5th century AD and continued to exist for an additional thousand years until the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire in 1453.
