The fear of tripping or falling when going up or down stairs, particularly in public places.

I missed the last shot of the game because I was coming back from the bathroom and couldn't look up due to my stairanoia.

Stair Rant

The string of words, either profanities or not, that are said by a person with very sore legs while climbing up or down the stairs.

This rant can also be used by one who is just tired or has something aagainst stairs.

Eample of a stair rant: "Goddammit...sonofabitch...i fucking hate stairs...why do they make you climb them everytime you want to leave the gym!?!"

"Jim totally stair ranted up all 8 flights of stairs up to his office today"

A new style of shoe. Heel changes according to the height one feels comfortable.

Girl 1: I went on a blind date and the kid was shorter than me since I was wearing heels.
Girl 2: I bought stairlettos the other day and I don't have to worry about that anymore!

Girl 2: Shoes that adjust their heel so instead of having an awkward situation, I can now fix my heel and enjoy my time

as an adjective: a feeling of complete zen happiness but with a poppy teen song playing in the back or a gentle smile while burning incense and having inner peace
as a noun: a completely zen person who holds the balance between melancholy and happiness all in a head bob

Guy 1. Man, do you see those fricking waves all glittering in the ocean as they roll in?

Guy 2. Yeah, that is so fricking starseay.

Guy 2. I just saw this dude, he was like burning incense but smiled gently, kinda like an ewok, but a monk, or a cool mystic penguin.
Guy 1. He is pretty much a starseay.

It's when you fuck in a staircase. What did you expect?

Of course, staircase fuck could also refer to:

Taking out an erect penis (or similar sexual device) and attempting to stick it into a staircase.

To exclaim the word "Fuck" while in a staircase.

To use the word "Fuck" in quick succession, with each repetition being spoken at a higher pitch.

To declare to oneself that from now on, you will only fuck another woman if she is hotter than the last one you fucked.

"I caught my apartment-neighbor staircase fucking when I decided to take the stairs instead of taking the elevator."

"Fuck."

"Fuck fuck fuck."

"Duuuuuude look at dat booty! You could see that thang all the way from China. Nigga you gotta tap dat ass!"

staircase baby

A staircase baby is a descriptive term (used among black women) to define a child that was conceived while the parents engaged in sex/intercourse on a staircase. The term is most often associated with teenage Blacks who live in "projects". The Staircase baby term is not exclusive to project stairways. The term applies to any child that is conceived on a staircase (anywhere, anytime).

She kept sneaking out of the apartment to meet him, now she got a staircase baby.
