play-tonic

Derived from the word "platonic," meaning "friendly," and also used as the opposite of romantic. "Play-tonic" is used to describe a "friends with benefits" situation. Their relationship is platonic, not romantic, but it also includes "play," or sensual/sexual interaction.

Person 1: Hey dude so are Mike and Jen just friends, or are they like a couple now?
Person 2: Neither, it's totally play-tonic.

Originates from the term xylophone for an anorexic girl.

An antonym of fair play. Foul play is called when someone's actions or words are deemed unacceptable or incorrect.

Brittish slang for correct or okay. Phrase taken from sports, where an action (play) is judged whether or not it qualifies or is within the rules.

Play Fag

Initials for a play fag, someone who like to be in plays and see plays to the point where it runs their life. A true P-F would never be seen playing a sport, and P-F's usually wear ridiculous costume clothing and make up all the time.

Danny, I can't be friends with you if you are going to be such a play fag.
