post-punk

A late 70's and early 80's musical subculture, stemming from the punk rock movement. Many bands who are considered post-punk can can also be labelled as new wave and goth. Within recent years many new bands have emerged with obvious post-punk influences. The sounds of post-punk are usually dark, rhythm guitar based with strong basslines coupled with simple drumbeats. The vocalists are often very original sounding and the lyrics, insightful as opposed to commercially accessable. Along with the music a fashion developed consisting of very plain clothing, sometimes dark eyeliner and for the boys short simple haircuts and for the girls more flamboyant hair.

Post-Grunge

A style of alternative rock that evolved from grunge in the mid-90's. Post-grunge employs the distorted guitar, vocal dynamics, and lyrical tone of traditional grunge music, albeit in a more radio-friendly manner.
Post-grunge can be plain hard rock or edgy alt-metal. A few post-grunge bands, like Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and Godsmack cross over into Nu-metal.

prostatic congestion

The condition commonly known as blue balls in males. It most commonly occurs when a man is continually aroused but never actually ejaculates. It is caused by an excess build up of fluid from the prostate gland (the fluid that makes up semen).

I have also heard that it was a build up of stopped blood in the testicles and penis.

My wife and I were making love when the kids came home early and we had to stop. Man, had some bad prostatic congestion (blue balls)!!

Post Gay

A concept in contemporary culture characterized by a distrust of the need to draw attention to or make issue of sexual orientation.

A way to describe qualities or characteristics that may stereotypically be regarded as gay while simultaneously implying that labels based on sexual identity are unnecessary, old fashioned or irrelevant.
