A concept in contemporary culture characterized by a distrust of the need to draw attention to or make issue of sexual orientation.

A way to describe qualities or characteristics that may stereotypically be regarded as gay while simultaneously implying that labels based on sexual identity are unnecessary, old fashioned or irrelevant.

Used to describe the gay huddle that occurs when one (or more) man (usually in a bar or other crowed event) exposes his penis and other men gather around to check it out. A "gun show" is not the exposed penis on its own, but includes the gathering that occurs.
John: "I went to the bar for another beer but got side tracked at the gun show over in the corner. Turns out Sam really does have a huge dick."

Bob: "Johnny loves showing off his big dick."
Peter: "Give him one more beer and I guarantee he'll start a gun show with those guys he's talking too."

Used to describe the feminine or "girlie" side of a masculine or straight-acting gay man which is typically hidden (often requiring great effort) but that will occasionally be revealed in an unguarded moment. Exposing this feminine side, even momentarily, results in diminished masculinity and weakness.
Dennis: "I used to think Tom was the roughest, toughest bear I had ever met, until he squealed like a 5 year old girl when he saw that mouse!"

Peter: "Yeah dude, he showed us some serious undernelly a minute ago."

Dennis: "After seeing his undernelly I'll never look at him the same way again."
