A spontaneous journey through the wilderness of one's choosing in an effort to satisfy one's itchy feet, a need to be elsewhere, the craving for the open road, that space over the horizon...yes... something like that... you can't quite touch it so you have to go find it because it's you just know it's there...Or maybe it just feels good to go walking around ... :wink: Yeah. It's WALKABOUT.

A Nigerian common word, variant of 'Fuck You'. Often used with the expression of the five fingers wide and aimed at the person in question.
It could also be used to tell someone rudely to 'fashi' or leave

Girl 1: Your ex gave me his number and he told me he never really liked you
Girl 2: waka(!)

Walkabout

A loosely planned journey or goal. Some sort of guidelines which will set you up for an adventure of highs and lows, trials and tribulations. An adventure of discovery filled with wisdom to be ascertained. A Walkabout creates the opportunity to discover the world from your own lens, and is a surefire way to realize your capabilities.

Sometimes I feel pigeonholed into other people's preconceptions of how to live a life. I'm going to go on a Walkabout and figure this shit out with my own point of view.
