Getting Phoenixed

Getting majorly screwed by a computerized system that messes up critical functions. (Drawn from the epic fail of a government pay system).

Seriously, I'm not getting my paychecks, my e-mails aren't fuctioning , I'm not showing up in the system and, well - I just hate getting Phoenixed.

River Phoenix

River Jude Phoenix, who died in the early 1990s, was a gifted actor in the 1980s and 1990s. You might recognize him as the older brother of Joaquin Phoenix. River was a proponent of animal rights, an environmentalist, and an actor. He was a true angel who was loving and generous, gracious, who would always go out of his way to support others. River was ahead of his time in his efforts to raise concerns about global warming and to put an end to animal cruelty; in particular, he was one of the first vegans in the 1980s, when few people knew what it meant. Stand By Me, Running On Empty, My Own Private Idaho, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are just a few of his memorable films. His success in the film My Own Private Idaho with his best friend Keanu Reeves made him an LGBTQ icon. Many people came out as a result of his performance, and many speculated River himself was bisexual. He tragically died of an overdose on Halloween, 1993, as a result of drugs given to him by his friend John Frusciante that night. River Phoenix, on the other hand, will still be remembered as a symbol and a legend who deserved so much more.

Phoenix Suns

My favorite Basketball team, probably known for it's great players but bad luck when it comes too winning in the post season. Usually we make it far in the playoffs, but we can't get that elusive championship.

I still don't care, I love the Suns and always will! I can only hope I still live in Phoenix when they do win though.

Suns fan #1: "Lakers Suck! Lakers Suck!"

Suns fan #2: "Dude...we're playing the Trailblazers"

Me: "Ah crap, the (Insert team here) eliminated the Suns. Oh well There's always next year"

Phoenix

Phoenix is a lovely and sweet girl but don't betray her or she will go rage. She is very beautiful and doesn't really give a fuck but is also very caring at the same time. She will be awkward at first but as soon as you get close with her you will never want to leave her side. Very brave girl and tough as fuck, will help you if you need help but she can also be a bitch, but that's only if your a bitch to her.
