Hamo is slang for a Samoan, a person from Samoa or of Samoan descent. Samoan is a polynesian language, and other dialects of the polynesian language tree substitutes the Samoan 's' with the letter 'h'. Therefore Samoa becomes Hamoa, shortened further to Hamo.

Hammond High School

Hammond High School is a high school located in the district of Howard County. It can now be considered as the most "ghetto" school in Howard County, but Howard County isn't actually ghetto at all. Oakland Mills High School used to be proclaimed as a "ghetto" high school, but after Hammond High School's JV and Varsity football team won in a fight against Oakland Mills High School in its own locker room, Oakland Mills Has lost its title as being "ghetto".

Devon: Yo, that nigga's from Hammond High School.
