slavs in southern kosovo who converted to islam during the rule of the ottoman empire.
it is of great debate whether the gorani are originally croats or serbs or macedonians . some historians claim them as one, and some claim them as another.
it should also be noted that some historians claim them as the same as torbesh from macedonia, who's origins are also debated.
some claim them as pomak or bulgarian aswell
