The thing your parents and teachers encourage when you are a kid, only for it to start getting crushed by life.
Kid: "mommy, I want to be a doctor when I grow up"
Mother: "yes son you can achieve anything!"
~kid grows up to the last year of high school~
Kid:"mom I am going to be a bartender"
Mother:"what happened to your dream of wanting to become a doctor?"
Kid:"life.... and my grades"

Step Dream

This phrase was used by GeorgeNotFound, a steamer and youtuber into calling Dream, a friend of his this way. This term he used makes it sound like he-s calling him DADDY since STEP -something- mostly means that a stepsister or a stepbrother have a relationship with one of their, also step siblings. Fans think that this is one of the most hilarious situations that included GeorgeNotFound and Dream.
Dream: *building a portal in minecraft*
GeorgeNotFound: "What are you doing... Step Dream?"
Dream: *shocked*
Also Dream: WHAT??
GeorgeNotFound: *grinning*
Dream: WHAAATT??!

Dream luck

Luck that's so bullshit, everyone will call you out on faking/cheating what you were doing, weather you were, or weren't faking/cheating it.
Guy 1: Did you hear about that guy at the casino the other day that got 4 jackpots on the slots, in a row?
Guy 2: Yeah, that's some dream luck bullshit right there, he 100% tampered with those things.

LSD: Dream Emulator

One of the strangest and oddest games to come out of the gaming industry, the game was released for the Playstation 1 in October of 1998 by Osamu Sato, who has also been known for his work on Eastern Mind: Lost Souls of Tong-Nou, a point-and-click game made for Windows computers. Gameplay-wise, the game is mostly based on exploring simulated dreams, which mostly works through a transportation system the game calls "Linking," most of the worlds you traversed through the game range from parks with miniature version of the most famous monuments, to a town filled with colorful and psychedelic faces, each dream mostly lasts for about 10 minutes or shorter. When the dream ends, you are shown a graph that displays how your dream went, there are 4 main directions on this graph, Upper, Downer, Static, Dynamic, each outcome of your previous dreams affects the ones you have, for example, if you had an Upper dream previously, your current dream should be slightly more cheerful with more colors, or if you had a Downer dream previously, your current dream will be filled with more ominous and disturbing themes and darker colors, while Static and Dynamic make more or less NPCs and in-game occurrences appear in future dreams. After you are shown how your dream went on the graph, you are then returned to the game's title screen where you can start your next dream.
Sure, Cho Aniki was weird, but LSD: Dream Emulator is even weirder, I'm not even sure how the programmers were able to design a game like this...

dreamcast

A video game console released on September 9th, 1999, or "9/9/99." The system ushered in the 128-bit age, with impressive graphics and online capabilities out of the box via a 56k modem.

The system was a huge hit among hardcore gamers and Sega Fanatics. Yet, in 2001, Sega pulled the plug on the system, and consoles were no longer manufactured. Many reasons exist for why the system failed -- no support of certain "critical" publishers, prior failure of the Sega Saturn, the ease with which games could be pirated, and the hype of the looming PS2. During its two year lifespan, over 250 games were released in the U.S. market, and many were hugely successful.

Whatever the reason for its demise, the system lived a life too short, but will always be remembered fondly in the hearts of serious gamers for excellent titles such as Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, Power Stone, Shenmue, and Crazy Taxi, just to name a few. We miss you, Dreamcast.
Hey man, I just got a Dreamcast.

Oh yeah, that's that badass system from Sega!

But.. isn't PS2 coming out soon. Why did you buy one?

BE QUIET. Dreamcast has great potential for fun. Gaming is about variety and innovation, and Dreamcast has both.
